What is an Exercise Physiologist?

An Exercise Sports Scrience Australia (ESSA) Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university  trained allied health professional. AEPs specialise in the prescription of clinical exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic diseases, injuries and disabilities. An AEP will work with you in assessing health status and identifying barriers to deliver a tailored exercise program to your own specific needs. 


What can an Exercise Physiologist treat?

An AEP will prescribe the right clinical exercises to help prevent and/or manage chronic disease, illness or injury. Regular clinically prescribed exercise has proven to be effective treatment and management of:
